When I initially met with the client and reviewed the project scope of work I mentioned to the client that the future garden space could resemble a courtyard garden that would be found in Savannah, New Orleans or Georgetown. The rear garden is 35’ x 35’ and the pool is 12’ x 17’ complete with a small spa. The construction materials included Pennsylvania Bluestone and irregular Wood Mold bricks which helped to create a garden and courtyard that looked as if it had been there for a while.

In addition to the pool other elements included in the final design, are entertaining and grilling courtyard area, herb garden, buffer plantings & walkways, automatic pool cover and raiser planters and water feature. The client paid the ultimate compliment by stating that they spent more time that summer in the new garden than in the previous seven summers.
